Side blog of thrud-of-asgard. I have loved Star Wars for decades, the new movies (except TROS) are amazing. I needed a side blog to put everything and all the Reylo. I also post Anakin/Obi-Wan and Stormpilot. And sometimes cats.

When the aftershocks have quietened and the tempo of her heartbeat slows, she kisses his fingers one by one and lets him fold her against his chest. His body smells of fresh sweat and sex. There’s a dull throbbing between her legs that’s not entirely unpleasant, and his spend slides off her stomach onto the sheets.
There’s no strangeness in their silence. Just a soft, floating peace.
After a long moment has passed, his fingers thread through her damp hair and comb it gently away from her face.
“Are you… all right?” he mumbles.
“Mmm.” Idly, her fingertips ghost over the scars imprinted in his back. She knows them all by heart. The bond between them hums with contentment; perhaps every single living soul aboard the ship can sense it. Maybe the whole galaxy. The pure, uncomplicated love that rises up within her feels like a gift from the Force itself. “I thought everything would be different,” she murmurs, licking a droplet of sweat from his cheek. “After.”
“Different?”
“Your quarters, for one.” Ben’s sleeper is now cambered slightly head-down towards the deck, one of many casualties of their wanton surges of energy in the Force. His chamber door, which he’d wrenched shut with brute force at some point, buckles outward from the middle as if warped by some internal explosion.
Or – many explosions. Wonderful ones.
He blows out a small laugh. “Nothing is irreplaceable.”
“And… us. Different.”
“How?”
Because there’s no going back from this, she thinks. Because I’m in love with you. Her throat feels as dry as the desert. “I don’t know.”
She isn’t certain Ben’s listening to her thoughts, but his grip tightens around her waist. I don’t deserve… love. You. Any of it.

How fandoms came from “villain is literally the most interesting character in the story” to “anyone who likes the villain supports real life crime” is truly beyond my comprehension.
(via spank-the-villain)
I hate that planned obsolescence is starting to reach fandoms. I hate that fandoms are starting to die after two, three years, I hate that whenever you stop getting content that means the fandom will die and be gone.
I need people to stop trying to brush off old interests as being ‘cringe’ as soon as you lose interest, or worse: make it seem like it’s imoral to like something that they themselves held so dear before.
Fandoms are meant to last for years and years, the moment content stops being created is the moment we truly thrive because we keep creating the content ourselves the way we love it and expand on the things that are already there for us.
I don’t care if you lost interest on something, it’s fine and normal even, but stop trying to blame and make fun of people who still do love the fandom and the content and the things we can create.
I need people to enjoy fandom again

Always RB: because there is never enough love. And fanfic love is some of the purest.

How is nobody talking about this:
But wait, it gets better:
Then it got better:

this is how we do it⊠the a/b/o uprising starts now
My love for potatoes
yeah uh⊠donât do this :)
as a fanfic writer! who has a few semi-abandoned fics! if you do this i will personally bite you with my teeth. you are disrespecting art and the love people put into their work by pretending that an AI can even compare to it
I am vibrating with rage at this. Not just for the childish grasping whine of âI want it NOWâ, unsatisfied with the millions of other free works of love offered up for entertainment, and not just for the complete ignorance of what makes a story; the arrogance to presume that the ending the author will make is irrelevant and that a substitute that goes completely in a different direction is just as good.
I FURIOUS BECAUSE THIS PERSON FED THE ALGORITHM WORDS THE AUTHOR NEVER WANTED A CORPORATION TO OWN. THOSE WORDS WERE FOR FELLOW FANS, FOR THE JOY AND LOVE OF THE ART AND SHE SPIT ON THAT. SHE FED THE CORPORATION THOSE WORDS. THEY WONâT LET THEM GO NOW. THE AI REMEMBERS AND LEARNS AND STEALS FROM THAT WORK FREELY AND WHOLEHEARTEDLY OFFERED IN FRIENDSHIP
She just fed the beast the screaming heart of a person who only offered friendship.
I want to split my thoughts between those of a reader and those of a writer.
As a reader, I donât read AI fics. Period. Seeing the time and effort from someone with a passion for a piece of media means more to me than reading a fast, completed fic. I get the temptation to write that way, but itâs literally worthless to me.
Now, as a writer with several unfinished WIPs:
Do not do this with my fics.
Itâs hurtful for all of the reasons creativitycache detailed so eloquently above. The idea that people would care so little about creators that they prioritize their own wants above those of the creator sucks. Fan creators are not just content farms, and attitudes like this only prove how far weâve fallen from being a community.
If you have questions about how an unfinished work would have ended, contact the author! 99% of the time on a truly abandoned WIP, theyâll tell you what they originally had planned.
I love posting fic chapters as I write them. I love the feedback and live reactions of readers. But posts (and people) like this make me want to only post fics when theyâre finished. And, without that reader feedback, I honestly doubt I would finish many fics at all.
Donât do this.
I HATE AI AND I HATE THE UTTER DISRESPECT THAT AN ACTION LIKE THIS ENTAILS.
I swear to fucking god, if anyone does this, they deserve to have their fanfiction reading privileges revoked PERMANENTLY!!! THAT IS SUCH A SCUMMY THING TO DO. DONâT EVER DISRESPECT FANWRITERS LIKE THIS. WE PUT SO MANY HOURS AND SO MUCH CARE AND SO MUCH OF OURSELVES INTO OUR WORK - WORK THAT WE DO NOT GET PAID FOR.
DONâT BE A SHITHEAD.
DONâT DO THIS TO MY FICS OR ANYONE ELSEâS.
Iâm in agreement. Not cool at all.
Yeah, donât do this. Itâs disrespectful to old authors, discouraging to new authors, and undermining the entire community. For the love of God, if you donât like reading unfinished fics, FILTER THEM OUT. If you canât find what you want to read, GO WRITE IT YOURSELF. Thatâs how I got started in fanfic
You are robbing yourself, the author, and everyone else. While I dislike what AI is doing, I also recognize that itâs the inevitable future and weâre all gonna end up getting attached to a little robot, but that is not a license to be a thief.
DONâT STEAL PEOPLEâS WORK
This is so devaluing. This says to the author, Iâm not here for the quality of your writing, I could get the same result from a glorified toaster. This is how low my standards are and how lowly I think of your fic.
people who try to “remind” you of your favorite characters’ horrible actions make me laugh. “Let’s not forget they did this and that” yeah I haven’t forgotten, I’m just too busy putting him in a cute outfit

The bot situation is so bad right now that I have to stop myself from automatically blocking new followers. I completely mislaid the previous post about this I made so hereâs a new one:
New Tumblr Users PSA!
Please put something in your bio, change your pfp, reblog a few posts, show some sign of human life. This lets us old and jaded tumblrites know that you are, in fact, a person, and not a spam or porn bot trying to get engagement in order to appear more legit.
If you are attached to your default icon, hereâs a picrew that will help you add signs of humanity to it without completely abandoning your cute little geometric buddy:
It really doesnât take much to let people know youâre a real human being, and it will save you from the disappointment of being blocked by the folks you wanted to follow before you even know what youâre doing here.
Welcome to tumblr. Itâs a blue hellsite. Youâll love it. Just please fly your human flag so we know to welcome you and not to zap you!
The bot situation has got worse, and the bots are getting better at making tumblr-sounding urls, so flying your human flag is becoming more vital to not get blocked.

no-terfs-no-swerfs-no-fascists:
my instagram explore page loves showing me those like erotic dark romance novel tiktoks and i really have to wonder: why do all these straight women desperately want to fuck a mafia boss
Okay, letâs try and break this down.
Sexual fantasies are, by their very nature, transgressive. Yes, even the fluffy, romantic ones. As long as general culture remains negative about sex and sexuality in any form that isnât cishet procreative sex within the confines of matrimony with the woman not as an equal actor but an object sex is performed onto, this is going to remain true.
And the thing about fantasies is that our brains like to take the things we crave the most and mix them up with our fears, anxieties, pain, and trauma into a melange of, sometimes, truly epic levels of fuckery.
But hereâs the secret - things we fantasize about, from the most wholesome to the bizarre to seriously fucked up? They are very, very often NOT what we literally want.
Being into dubcon or noncon doesnât mean you actually want to be raped or rape. Being into monsters doesnât make you a zoophile. And fantasizing about violent, obsessive men doesnât mean you wouldnât run as far the fuck away from a man like that the second one of them set their sights on you.
If youâre really interested in the subject, I recommend reading My Secret Garden by Nancy Friday, a compilation of anonymously submitted womenâs sexual fantasies. And, as it turns out, women fantasize about a lot of really violent, uncomfortable, and just plain screwed up stuff.
And, for most of them, even when they donât actively realize it, itâs about reclamation. Of fear, of trauma, of loss of power. Itâs about THEMSELVES and how THEY feel. As weird as itâs gonna sound, the men featured in those fantasies donât really matter, theyâre just a vessel, a manifestation of the extreme version of what youâre dealing with and/or crave. A safe, cathartic way to experience something profoundly unsafe, unwise, and terrifying.
For women fantasizing about criminals, villains, monsters, and anti-heroes, itâs very often about the idea that someone like that - intense, violent, with single-minded focus, and immense power - would love her, want her, always put her first, go against all his instincts/training for you without a second thought and be a clear and present danger to everyone but warmth and safety for her and only her, and burn the world itself down for hurting her in even the slightest of ways. Itâs a sexual version of the fantasy of having a pet tiger, one that would never, ever attack you or hurt you in any way.
And just like the people who want to boop the forbidden snoot, the women fantasizing about their fantasy Mafia Boss Lover are very well aware of the fact that 1) men like that donât actually exist, 2) the criminal world of their fantasy has all but nothing to do with reality, and 3) that the thing theyâre actually fantasizing about is being loved, wanted, and safe⊠just in a REALLY intense, exaggerated way. And, letâs not mince words, thereâs also often a more or less strong D/s dynamics at play in the scenario, too.
Now, you can choose to be judgy bitches about it (goodness knows plenty of you in the replies, comments, and tags are), in which case I would suggest you examine why youâre feeling such a profound need to shame women for enjoying themselves in their own little world, or you can apply the YKINMKATO mantra and understand that straight women, living in the constant state of preyhood, sometimes consciously or subconsciously reclaim power over that situation through transgressive sexual fantasies.
Also, fuck this idea that queer people only fantasize about healthy and wholesome relationships, romantic, sexual, or otherwise, as if at least half of Tumblr isnât simping for, oh, for example, Hannibal fucking Lecter. Do you have ANY idea how many Mafia and Thug BL content there is out there?! FFS, Tom of Finland, a WWII veteran who fought against Nazis, drew art of exaggeratedly masculine men in Nazi uniforms in pornographic situations as a way to dissociate himself from those traumas and fascists themselves as far back as the 1950s!
So yeah. Less judgement, and more taking some responsibility for curating your online experience if seeing someoneâs kink truly offends you this much.
âBooping the forbidden snootâ is a good way of putting it

Iâm going to try to explain this without sounding completely deranged but like, okay: IMO, there are two kinds of fantasies. letâs call them horses and unicorns.
a horse fantasy is something that is theoretically possible. I do not currently own a horse, and the reality of owning a horse would involve boring stuff like paying for its food and mucking out its stall, but it is something I could do in real life. like, horses exist and can be owned by humans. lots of fantasies can fall into this category: traveling to a foreign country, living in a cute house with just you and a cat, winning a marathon, basically anything that is technically achievable even if it would be difficult to do so in real life.
a unicorn fantasy is something that is definitely (or almost definitely) impossible. I do not currently own a unicorn, and there is no version of reality where I could own a unicorn, because unicorns are not real. the actual logistical issues that might arise from owning a unicorn, like paying for its food or mucking out its stall, are completely immaterial because itâs not something that could ever actually happen. and like, itâs in my brain! I control it! I can imagine a unicorn that only eats marshmallows and shits potpourri if I want to!
I think the disconnect comes in when people assume that a unicorn fantasy is actually a horse fantasy. to use the tiger example from upthread: you can own a tiger. you canât have a completely domesticated tiger that would never hurt you, not even by accident. so saying âI want a pet tigerâ is a unicorn fantasy, because everything necessary for that fantasy to work (it being completely domesticated and incapable of harming you) are not things you can have in real life.
now, serial killers/war criminals/normal criminals/etc. are all things that exist. and there are definitely people in relationships with them in real life! so itâs tempting to assume that something like âI want to fuck a serial killerâ is a horse fantasy: something you would want to do, and could do, if given the opportunity.
but for the vast majority of people, thatâs not the fantasy. the rest of the fantasy (âheâs a serial killer, BUT he only kills bad people and heâs nice to me and is both able and willing to protect me from literally anything and has sex exactly the way I want to because he magically knows what I want because, again, this is happening in my brainâ) is what makes it a unicorn.
